I got into woodworking a couple years ago, at the time I didn’t have a lot of tools. Fortunately my wife’s late grandfather used to work as a woodworker and he gave me some tools to get me started. My whole life I have been building stuff and as a child I experimented with speakers. I remember mounting car radios with cassette tapes and large batteries on my bike. The sound was horrible for sure but I didn’t care. The bigger speakers the better.
Now a days I build speakers for fun. It is still an experiment for me and I learn something new with every new speaker I build. I wouldn’t consider myself an audiophile, I just enjoy the process.
In the future I want to design and build furniture. First, I just feel like I want to improve my woodworking skills and find more time in the shop.
