Description
Build plans for my spekaer ‘The Tripod’. The build plans include all the information you need to build this speaker, including wiring and crossover. This speaker is active and has its own amplifier. Since the amplifier has wifi, it supports Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, Tidal, Deezer, Qobuz, TuneIn, Internet Radio. In theory ou can build several of these speakers and synchronize the audio as you do with any wifi speaker. The spekaker also has auxiliary in and bluetooth.
The frequency response above is measured from around 1m (3 feet). It is measured indoors which affects the results.
The purpose of these build plans is to give you the dimensions to help you build a good sounding speaker. I don’t take into account what materials you use but note that the material you use can affect the sound.
Note that the components used aren’t the most budget-friendly available, however it is well worth it in my mind.
